Providing Interpreter Training & Language Evaluations
Lopez Translation & Training of Caldwell, Idaho, offers a range of medical interpreter training programs and language evaluations. Our programs include training interpreters to be qualified to translate in Idaho, while also preparing them for their national certification. We are the only organization with a trainer currently teaching the national curriculum in the state.
Training Programs
If you'd like to work in Idaho as a medical interpreter, take our 16-hour program. Our highly skilled team also teaches the 40-hour national curriculum, which is accepted in all 50 states and is the prerequisite for national certification.
Advanced Courses
Lopez Translation & Training also provides advanced courses so working interpreters can continue to improve their skills. These courses are taught at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, 1055 N Curtis Road, Boise, ID 83706. You will receive confirmation and specific details on your training room location when you register for the class.
Pricing
The cost for the 16-hour training class is $195 for early registration and $215 for late registration. If you're interested in our 40-hour class, you can sign up for $499 for early registration and $520 for late registration. Our advanced course is two hours long and costs $35.

Language Evaluations
Lopez Translation & Training also offers testing services and language evaluations to help you meet the state requirements to become a medical interpreter. Prices start at $45 and vary depending on the language you choose.
